Household Breeding of Sheep in the City of Korhogo: Characteristics of the Populations at the Origin of This New Practice
Show Abstract
Abstract
Sheep farming has become an important activity in the north of Côte d'Ivoire,
particularly, in the city of Korhogo. However, no study has yet focused on the
actors of this practice in the city of Korhogo. The objective of this study was
to determine the demographic characteristics of sheep breeders in the city of
Korhogo as well as their motivation sources for this practice. Thus, a survey
was conducted in the town of Korhogo on sheep breeders who had more than
5 animals. It was found that this activity is carried out mainly by Sénoufo and
Malinké of Ivorian nationality. The age range of the population interested in
this type of farming is between 31 and 80 years old, with 86% of men. Few of
these farms have existed for more than 10 years. Traders and civil servants are
the main actors. They are motivated not only by love and passion but also by
the need to support their families.

An Interpretation of Femicide in Mexico: Violence and Human Rights
Show Abstract
Abstract
This paper studies the problem of femicide in Mexico, through three axes: violence, femicide and human rights. We interpret this phenomenon using Johan Galtung’s theory of violence as a framework, paired with concepts from
Bourdieu, Segato, Lagarde and Russell, with whom he agrees in regards of the multiplicity of elements, levels and scopes of violence, but that also complement the voids in his original theory. We seek to unveil the divers dimensions
in which femicidal violence operates, as well as its negative consequences, direct and collateral damages, and its multiple victims. Our theoretical approach intends to provide certain guidelines to reflect and humanize the victims, and also a deeper understanding of the contexts where it happens, emphasizing that these crimes eliminate women’s subjectivity and desensitize society, as such they are violations of women’s Human Rights.

Research on Cooperative Benefit Distribution Mechanism of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain with the Participation of Third-Party Logistics Service Providers
Show Abstract
Abstract
With the cancellation of the policy of “approval of third-party drug logistics business”, a large number of powerful enterprises that meet the conditions of modern pharmaceutical logistics have entered the pharmaceutical logistics. In
this context, the introduction of third-party logistics service providers into the pharmaceutical supply chain system makes the problem study more practical. A three-level pharmaceutical supply chain operation mode was constructed, which was composed of pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical distributors, third-party logistics service providers and retail pharmacies/hospitals. By using game model, the relevant indicators under independent decision-making and cooperative decision-making can be compared and analyzed. The results show that in a certain range of cooperative cost, the performance index of pharmaceutical supply chain cooperative decision is significantly higher than that of independent decision. On this basis, considering two conditions that every supply chain member can obtain more benefits than that of independent decisions and the relative leadership of supply chain members, the cooperation benefits of pharmaceutical supply chain are reasonably distributed by three-distribution method based on profit distribution factors. Combined with the results, the elements affecting the profit distribution factor are explored, and the value range of the profit distribution factor is continuously reduced until the final result is determined and applied in practice, so as to ensure the stable cooperative operation of the pharmaceutical supply chain system.

Tennis and Socioeconomic Class: The Change in Perception of the Sport
Show Abstract
Abstract
From the 12th century to the early 19th century, a game of tennis was the ideal setting where aristocrats could interact. Individuals who were associated with the sport were categorized as well-refined and upper-class. However, with the rise of individualism and free-market consumerism in the mid-1980s associated with Reaganism and Thatcherism, tennis was made more available and attracted the middle class. As such, the entry of players like Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe revolutionized the game with their rebellious actions, which transformed the etiquette of fine sportsmanship into a tough, aggressive game filled with tantrums and vulgarities and the determination to win and make money above all else. Through the commercialization of tennis, the public’s perception has changed; tennis is no more “a sport for kings”, but a sport for all.

The Path of Soviet Cinema to Great Changes and Freedom from the Period of “Stagnation” to “Perestroika”
Show Abstract
Abstract
The transitional period in Soviet cinematography coincides with the historical period called “perestroika”. Children become heroes of the “stagnation” period. However, they are different from the “archetype of the young hero” that
is shown in the student films of Tarkovsky and Konchalovsky. The main themes of the movies are the problems of the youth. The filmmakers analyze such themes as education, conflict between a child and adult, and common
mistakes of different generations. They treat these problems as a result of a static state of society. The youth become a powerful force that revives the concepts of “change” and “freedom”.
